LOCAL grain growers have sustained only limited crop damage despite recent cold temperatures and frost.

Following a booming start to the season with significant early rains through April and May, Yorke Peninsula paddocks have progressed into winter strongly.

Central Ag Solutions, Arthurton, agronomist Paul Ackland said the recent temperatures had minimal impact on crop growth.
