IF you’re looking for a one-stop shop for all things four-wheel drive on Yorke Peninsula, look no further than Brett’s Customs.
Locally owned and operated, Brett’s Customs delivers a full range of automotive services with a strong focus on 4x4 performance, accessories and custom fabrication.
Located at 98 Port Road, Kadina, the workshop is open Monday to Friday from 8.30am to 5pm; customers can call 0410 622 254 or email brett@brettscustoms.com.au to book in or discuss their vehicle needs.
With more than 10 years’ experience, qualified mechanics Brett Martin and his team provide everything from general servicing and preventative maintenance to major mechanical repairs.
As an authorised Dobinsons dealer, Brett’s Customs specialises in suspension upgrades and certified GVM upgrades to improve load-carrying capacity, vehicle handling and compliance.
The workshop also supplies and installs a wide range of high-quality four-wheel drive accessories — bull bars, snorkels, lift kits, dual battery systems, touring gear and camping equipment — built to handle both tough work conditions and off-grid adventures.
Brett’s Customs is known across the region for fabricating BC ute trays and canopies.
Built in-house, these units combine durability with thoughtful design and are customised to each client’s needs.
The team also builds one-off solutions such as bull bars, rock sliders, workbenches and specialised equipment for trade and recreation.
Brett leads the workshop as owner, head mechanic and fabricator, while co-owner Tayla Bartholomew manages the administration; apprentice Riley Mowbray is learning the trade under Brett’s guidance, and keeping the team company are Frank the shed dog and Brett and Tayla’s young son — the workshop’s unofficial junior member.
From concept to completion, Brett’s Customs works closely with every client to bring their 4x4 vision to life — reliably, professionally and locally.
