CEREMONIAL PLANTING... In 1871 the Daniell, Bartram and Johnson families were the first to take up land leases around Coobowie. Their descendants, David Daniell, Marie Stanton and Maurice Johnson, pictured with Coobowie Progress Association president Tina Rowe, planted a Moreton Bay fig tree as part of the town’s 150th celebrations.
