THIS Christmas, the real meaning of the season will be celebrated at the first Carols in the Park to be held by The Association of Christian Churches of the Copper Coast.

The event will be held at Victoria
Square, Kadina, from 7pm on Friday, December 19.

The Salvation Army Copper Coast
Auxiliary-Lieutenant Mark Foyle said the event would focus on the good news of the
birth of Jesus as the “reason for the
season”.

“We will be singing the great carols of Christmas, including Hark the Heralds Angels Sing, Joy to the World, and O Little Town of Bethlehem, interspersed with readings from the Bible unfolding the story of the Saviour’s birth,” he said.

“Our carol singing will be accompanied by the various musical groups from the churches of the Copper Coast.

“We want to share the joy and hope of Christmas with our beloved Copper Coast community.

“Everyone is invited to come along with their family and friends and sing those great carols of the church that stir our hearts and remind us of the real meaning of Christmas.”
