HOLDING OUT HOPE... Tickera resident Dale Morphett is glad to see the township boundary change proposal out for public consultation after a three-year wait. Mr Morphett hopes the boundary separating Barunga West and Copper Coast Councils is shifted from its current position, a fenceline south of Tickera, to instead run along Black Rock and Kinnear Roads. If successful, the boundary relocation would reduce the land zoned to the Copper Coast Council and enable Mr Morphett’s rural property, as well as nine other coastal allotments, to become part of Barunga West Council.
