TECHGROW is proud to add Boss Agriculture’s air seeder and planters to its offering.

Boss Engineering formed in 2007, initially to build ute trays and truck bodies.

The business grew as the local need for high quality agricultural equipment increased, and the Boss Agriculture line was launched in 2010.

Boss’ factory has expanded to 30,000 square metres (under roof) and more than 190 employed in peak teams.

Boss Planters are highly customisable, with a range of frame designs and configurations which can be tailored with numerous tyne and disc options.

Each planter is designed specifically to the grower’s requirements in a collaborative process to ultimately achieve the best possible seed placement and finish in the various soil types across a farm, with optimal crop establishment being the ultimate goal.

Boss produces planters with a width from 9m to 36m, which possess an incredible ability to follow undulating country due to the unique flex frame capability.

Easy maintenance and settings are also paramount in the design of a Boss Planter, with years of practical in-field development providing continual improvements.

“With several machines already operating in SA, Techgrow will assist us in keeping up our high level of support to all Boss customers,” Boss national sales manager Dan Ryan said.

“Seeding is one of the most important on-farm operations and requires both a great product and great support.”

“One of the key drivers in working with Techgrow is partnering with a local family operated business that has a great knowledge of agriculture and a focus on their core range of products.

“We are thrilled to be working with Techgrow and providing South Australian growers with industry leading solutions in tyne or disc seeding operations.”

Techgrow managing director Colin Mitchell said he was excited to add the Boss air seeder and planter range to their offering.

“The Boss range really complements our existing core product line which focuses first and foremost on quality, precision and functionality,” he said.

“We have never been interested in selling a large number of products but instead focus on providing exceptional backup service and support for a few key brands that we truly believe in.”

Techgrow will be running a demonstration program across South Australia this winter, with a planter bar that has a range of tyne and disc options to see in action.

“We are urging anyone interested in seeing a Boss Planter in action to get in contact with us so that we can organise an on-farm demonstration on their place or close by,” Techgrow Regional Sales Manager Jacob Kain said.

“The level of interest so far has been exceptional, and we look forward to discussing the product range and capabilities further with our valued customers.

“There are limited build slots still available for the 2024 winter seeding program so we are looking forward to seeing some more units in the state before long.”
