Beekeepers urged to stay vigilant for varroa

BEEKEEPERS across South Australia are asked to stay vigilant as varroa mite detection spreads throughout the state. Varroa mites are tiny external parasites of honey bees that pose a significant risk to Australia’s honey bee and industries that need bees for pollination.
