HISTORIC OCCASION... Vietnam War Memorial Walk project leads Roger Hogben (left) and John Edwards (second right), with guest speakers Australian War Memorial director Matt Anderson PSM, and General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK AC (Mil) CVO MC (Retd), and at the walk’s official opening in Edithburgh yesterday (Monday, August 18), which was also Vietnam Veterans’ Day. The walk is the first memorial in Australia to list every Australian unit involved in the Vietnam War and the event drew hundreds of people from around the nation.
