Democracy, where is it?

APPARENTLY we live in a democracy where the government can change the rules to suit their own needs and large companies can come in and take over farming land and disrupt agriculture.

We read all the time about food security and feeding an increasing population. But is the government listening?

While we are on the subject of wind farms if you think they are green do some research; stopthesethings.com.

Also, did you know as a consumer you are paying overseas companies up to $500,000 for each turbine every year for 25 years before any electricity is generated.

The electricity produced could just be a by-product, they are very inefficient and coal power stations have to keep running to cover their variable output.

If the government thinks we need them, they can put them in their own backyard not Yorke Peninsula’s.
