IT is a shame people dump their rubbish on the side of the roads, especially dirty nappies, et cetera, it’s just plain unhygienic.
Dob someone in, I don’t think a lot of people will do it; council has brought it on itself a bit.

Closing down Moonta and Wallaroo dumps, and then putting the prices up so high to legally dump rubbish, what did they expect would happen?

If you feel sorry for someone, feel sorry for the volunteers who work at St Vincent de Paul Society, et cetera.

They empty the collection bins for unwanted goods and they get nappies put in their bins and they aren’t getting paid to clean up this rubbish.

While I’m talking Copper Coast council, I must say I also feel for the weekenders at the Wallaroo North Beach Tourist Park.

Wallaroo used to be a place where ordinary people could afford to come and stay.

Progress is good, but it seems as though council only wants people with a bit of money to come here and to stipulate how old the caravans should be is pushing things a bit far.

I wouldn’t like to see our tourists pushed away as so many businesses rely on these people to keep coming back each year.
