Harvest Corner facing uncertain future

THE future operation of Minlaton’s Harvest Cor­ner is under the microscope after Yorke Penin­sula Council decided to remove its Accredited Vis­i­tor Information Centre and staff from the site.

“We re-assure people Harvest Corner isn’t going to close, and we are now working closely with the Minlaton Progress Association to plan a way forward,” treasurer Deb Anderson said.

“Basically, we are back to where we started in 1995, and that is a craft and visitor information outlet run entirely by volunteers with no paid staff.
