Comets claim inaugural bowls championship

The Heysen Comets are the champions of the inaugural Bowls SA Super League season, defeating the South Eastern Spartans on Sunday, September 9.

Arthurton’s Grace Moloney was not selected to play for the Comets in the final game of the year but was on hand to help celebrate while Kadina’s Nathan Black lined up with partner Tyson Wilson in the pairs for the Spartans.

Black and Wilson have been incredible this season and brought their good form into the final, taking the early lead 12-3, before stretching it out to 21-9.
