NAFA... Broughton-Mundoora bows out

REPORTER: Dennis Green

Broughton-Mundoora Eagles have been knocked out of the Northern Areas Football Association A grade premiership race after losing Saturday’s preliminary final by 34 points.

In front of 3800 fans at Laura, Orroroo made it four from four against Broughton-Mundoora this season to book a place in this week’s grand final against Crystal Brook.

The game opened at a frenetic pace with Eagles relying heavily on the defensive work of Dylan Hewett at centre-half back where he dominated, and it took 14 minutes for the first goal to be scored.
