Locals dominate surfing titles

Local athletes were dominant in the first round of the Woolworths South Australia Junior Surfing Titles, winning four of six divisions at West Cape on Saturday, April 7.

This included the blue-ribbon divisions, the under-18 boys and girls’ events, which put the skills of the best junior surfers in South Australia on display in three-to-four-foot conditions.

Digby Tooze, of Corny Point, surfed beyond his age to take out the under-18 boys’ event.
