Palmer pulls on Tai’s number

Joel Palmer, who has won a premiership and Mail Medal playing for Kadina, displayed what mateship is about on Saturday night.

Palmer donned his mate Tai Martin-Page’s number 19 guernsey and played in a Nor­thern Territory Premier League match for the Darwin Buffaloes against the Wanderers.

In the previous match bet­ween these teams, a freak collision left Martin-Page paralysed with a serious spinal injury.
