Woodcock wins SANFL u18 medal

Former Bute/Paskeville junior footballer Boyd Woodcock has won the 2017 SANFL under 18s best and fairest award, the McCallum-Tomkins Medal.

The 17-year-old North Adelaide midfielder was named in his side’s best players 11 times from his 12 appearances, securing votes in nine games, comprising four first, two second and three third preferences.

“I was a little surprised ... it’s an awesome honour to collect this best and fairest trophy,” Woodcock said.
