Change for basketball

Yorke Valley Basketball Association is considering shifting senior games from Fridays to midweek, in a bid to increase participation.

The decision will be discussed at the YVBA annual general meeting on Tuesday, June 20.

“The league has completed 53 seasons and games have been played on Friday every year, which is why it’s such a big decision,” president Mike Newton said.
