Well done to our under 17s who got the job done at the Landmark Cup and bad luck to the A graders who would have been the second best side there but ran into the premiers in game one.

There was a lot of talk at Gladstone about the lack of CY Cougars players in the senior side. The Cougars rolled the CMS Crows the week before which would indicate to me they are one of the most talented teams in the comp. Yet not one of their players was in the association team.

The league has cracked down on players ducking association selection in recent years and anyone who tries risks a one-week suspension.
