Marc Scott, Jake Cook and Luke Brind were members of the SA under 18 bowls side which played Victoria at Ascot Park last week. 
It was the third time Luke Brind (of Curramulka) had been chosen to represent the state, whereas for Jake (Minlaton) and Marc (Kadina) it was their first.
(Marc and his father, Bute bowler Bob Scott, won the YP All Stars Junior Classic at Ardrossan on Friday.)
Although the SA boys lost, they gained valuable experience and all looks good for the future.
The SA u18 girls defeated Victoria.
