ELITE... Olympic medallists and world champions battled it out for Copper Coast cycling supremacy on the weekend, and Lachlan Glasspool came out on top for the second year running. The Copper Coast Cup involved a 77-kilometre race, including two dirt sections, on Saturday as well as a criterium around Queen’s Square, Moonta, on Sunday.

Lachlan Glasspool claimed back-to-back road race honours, taking out Saturday’s 77-kilometre event from Sam Welsford and Leo Simmonds.
Jessica Mundy improved on her performance last year by winning the elite women category in front of Victoria Veitch and Narelle Hards.
