Baby dolphin beaches itself at The Dipper

BEACHGOERS were shocked when a baby dolphin beached itself at The Dipper, south of Port Julia, on Saturday.

Gabrielle Agnew and some friends spotted the dolphin about 50 metres offshore.

“Knowing it was a dodge tide, we mentioned it must be pretty shallow and we hoped it wasn’t stuck on the reef,” she said.
