Copper Coast police support White Ribbon Day

COPPER Coast police held a barbecue in support of White Ribbon Day on Friday, November 24.

Family Violence Intervention Officer Senior Constable Nikki Oxspring, Senior Constable First Class Grant Hansen and Senior Constable Dan Furniss served sausages and spoke with the community, raising $152 and valuable awareness for White Ribbon’s campaign to end violence against women.

“We raised $152, which will be given directly to White Ribbon, funding programs in schools and agencies, helping to reinforce the message violence against women is not okay,” Senior Constable Oxspring said.
