Len Smith died peacefully in Mill Court Nursing Home, Balaklava, on March 21, 2015.

Fifty years of ladies’ darts

HIGH PERFORMANCE... The Kadina Ladies Darts Association had humble beginnings, but soon featured top-quality players such as Sylvia May (right) who is pictured with the fellow winners and runners-up during the Kadina Open a few years back, Rebecca Hindke, Peter Machin and Alan Ritchie.

 

In June, 1965, several ladies got together to form a ladies’ darts club in Kadina, having been offered the former Buff Lodge hall as a venue.
