The value of value-adding

IN the past, the last thing on your mind when building your dream home was probably selling it. However, times have changed and now an increasing number of consumers are looking to the long term when building.

While people have traditionally built homes in basic form to meet a firm budget and gradually improved them to meet their needs, many are now having luxuries and quality additions built into the building contract.

Homebuyers are recognising the value in getting their home right from the start for a number of reasons. Low interest rates and a change in living patterns has led to an increasing number of homebuyers adding extras to their home during the building process.
