Your View: Speed limits

REINSTATEMENT of 110km/h speed limits to Copper Coast and Yorke Highways, on completion of current roadworks, might well be overdue (YPCT 5-6-18).

From Urania to Arthurton and Kulpara though is another matter.

If anything, a speed limit reduction could be justified because a number of low spots give rise to the possibility of becoming airborne and losing control, particularly when another vehicle, perhaps a large truck, is lumbering at you from the opposite direction.

I am sure other users of these very old roads, which once served us well, would agree.
