Your View: Famous fruit cake

IT’S not often you find a recipe in a telephone book, but Marlene Houghton’s in the local 2017/18 book is fantastic.

Her family-famous three ingredient fruit cake is as good as I have tasted and is so easy to make.

If I can make it, anyone can.

They are all meant to be made a little different, so I added a fourth ingredient, 200 grams of glazed cherries.
