Harvest Corner facing uncertain future

THE future operation of Minlaton’s Harvest Cor­ner is under the microscope after Yorke Penin­sula Council decided to remove its Accredited Vis­i­tor Information Centre and staff from the site.

DEMOLITION of the Yorketown Uniting Church has begun, after damage sustained during a freak weather event in January 2017 rendered the 109-year-old building structurally unsafe.

Step forward for North Coast Road

YORKE Peninsula Coun­cil will increase maintenance for the notorious North Coast Road, Point Turton, while refreshing the road design so it can apply for funding to seal the 11-kilometre section.
