Ellis crosses floor, votes to adjourn

DEBATE about the state government’s Mining Bill has been adjourned after Member for Narungga Fraser Ellis and three Liberal colleagues crossed the floor to vote with Labor on Tuesday, November 27.

Never before on record had so many South Australian government MPs voted against their own party’s Bill.

Member for Davenport Steve Murray, Member for MacKillop Nick McBride and Member for Kavel Dan Cregan joined Mr Ellis in crossing the floor.
