Heather stepping out for cerebral palsy

A FEW years ago Heather Bradley, of Port Hughes, was left in a wheelchair after being crushed by a 700-kilogram hay bale.

Now she is taking 10,000 steps per day to raise money for people living with cerebral palsy, like her grandson Pearce, for whom walking is a constant difficulty.

Mrs Bradley is participating in Steptember, an annual fundraiser for the Cerebral Palsy Alliance which runs from Sunday, September 4, to Friday, September 28.
