Kadina thrift shop’s deserving makeover

DEDICATED volunteers have spent two weeks revamping the Kadina Salvation Army thrift shop, giving it a new lease on life.

The shop, on the corner of Drain and Port Roads, reopened on Monday, August 27, and volunteers said the community’s response had been positive.

The thrift shop now boasts wider aisles for the disabled, a larger furniture section, decluttered women’s and men’s clothing areas, a photo wall and well-organised book and bric-a-brac units.
