Potential council candidates receive briefing

INTERESTED community members were briefed about the local government election process at Yorke Peninsula and Copper Coast Councils last Wednesday, August 29.

About 20 people attended the session in the Kadina Town Hall while nine went to the YPC session in Minlaton.

Potential councillors must be over 18, on the voters’ role or designated person for a body corporate or a group which has its name on the voters’ roll.
