Land sale to benefit Port Vincent

YORKE Peninsula Council will sell off a parcel of land in Port Vincent and earmark the funds for community projects.

Councillors moved to seek ministerial approval to revoke community land classification at 14 Bennett Street, Port Vincent, at their meeting earlier this month.

The revocation will allow council to take control of and sell the land, which is located between residential homes and considered not appropriate for community use.
