POLICE are searching for Wallaroo man Jake Dohnt after he allegedly pointed a handgun at officers yesterday (Monday).

Part of Wallaroo has been declared a dangerous area as officers try to locate Mr Dohnt, 25, who led police on a high-speed chase before later producing the gun, at which point an officer fired a shot at him.

Mr Dohnt then fled, leading to a manhunt throughout Wallaroo and Kadina which is now well into its second day.
