Dry weather likely to delay seeding

WEEKEND rain on Yorke Peninsula was a break from the summery start to April, but not enough to provide relief for farmers due to start seeding this month.

There was a stark contrast between northern and southern YP in the amount of rain received.

Yorketown was hit with 12 millimetres from Friday afternoon to Mon­day morning, whilst Port Victoria had 9.8mm and Kadina had just 0.2mm.
