2018 State Election: Final word from the Narungga candidates

The state election is this Saturday, March 17.

The YP Country Times’ series asking local candidates for their views on a range of important local topics wraps up this week.

For the final instalment each candidate was asked a simple question: Why should people vote for you?

WE desperately need a change of government in South Australia, and only a vote for the Liberal Party will ensure we get that change this Saturday.
Nick Xenophon and SA-BEST won’t rule out putting the Weatherill Labor government back into power. What motivated me to stand for preselection was my passion for my home electorate and rural SA.

A VOTE for Sam Davies and  SA-BEST will deliver a smaller, harder-working government with better regional representation.
We will have a community-owned power station that drives down retail power prices by 20 per cent within two years.

I HOPE the people of Narungga have gotten to know me during this campaign period and will vote for me because I will take a principled and disciplined approach to how I represent them.

I AM not your everyday politician. I come from a mid-low socioeconomic background and never thought I would be in this position.
I took on this role not for my own ambitions of grandeur or success, but as I felt the sense of urgency to be part of the change I hope to see, a genuine voice for our local communities and environment.
