Air force cadets have wings clipped

THE Australian Air Force Cadets 620 Squadron at Kadina is going into recess.

Cadets and their families were told of the decision at their meeting on Friday, February 2.

Almost two years ago, the organisation was on the brink of closure due to a lack of leaders before several community members stepped forward.

    As a former Commanding Officer of the Squadron I am very disappointed to hear this news. May I encourage anyone with a desire to work with some great young people to consider applying to become a staff member, especially any with experience in the ADF.
