Local health issues not isolated

ISSUES with hospital on-call rosters, workloads and staffing are not confined to Wallaroo, according to the Rural Doctors Association of South Australia.

RDASA is negotiating a three-year deal with Country Health SA for doctors across the state, working through a number of issues.

“What we are seeing around the state, not just in Wallaroo, is an increasing difficulty for the on-call rosters to be filled at the local hospitals,” RDASA  representative Dr Scott Lewis said.
