Driest June in decades throughout YP

YORKE Peninsula experienced its driest June in decades this year.

Minlaton recorded just 14mm of rain, down from an average of more than 60mm, making it the town’s driest June in 46 years.

Stansbury, Warooka, Wallaroo, Moonta and Bute all had their driest Junes in 20 years as rainfall ranged from 40mm to 60mm less than average.
