THE South Australian Government has announced a six-point plan to solve the state’s energy crisis, with $550million to be spent on Australia’s largest battery, a gas-fired power plant and incentives for increased gas production.
Premier Jay Weatherill, in conjunction with Treasurer Tom Koutsantonis, announced the plan at a press conference on Tuesday, March 14.
“We’re taking charge of our energy future with a plan that will deliver South Australian power for South Australians,” Mr Weatherill said.
