BIG SHIP... The biggest ship to have ever been loaded at Wallaroo, the Blue Matterhorn, berthed last week. The ship was built in 2011 and is equivalent in size to a Panamax — 81,391 dead weight tonnes. It is 229 metres long and 32 metres across (beam).
It is loading 33,000 tonnes of wheat at Wallaroo then will load 33,000 tonnes of wheat at Port Giles, before departing for Koh Sichang, Thailand.
