Mayor questions LGA president

EMBATTELD City of Onkaparinga mayor, and Local Government Assoc­iation president, Lorraine Rosenberg has narrowly retained support despite being questioned by Copper Coast Council mayor Paul Thomas.

Mr Thomas asked whether Ms Rosenberg should be leading the LGA’s fight against rate capping, considering she is defending her council’s controversial credit card expenditure.

Councillors directed Mr Thomas to raise the issue at the Legatus Group’s February meeting. His motion was defeated by the smallest of margins.
