PEOPLE requiring emergency assistance in Maitland and Ardrossan were forced to wait as neither station had volunteers available one day late last month.
Wallaroo crews had to respond to two incidents in Maitland, and one in Ardrossan, on the last day of school holidays, Sunday, April 29.
SA Ambulance Service country service delivery acting director Lorraine Amos said a volunteer crew from Ardrossan operated from 8pm that night.
