Police News... Homemade firearms seized after police raids

FIREARM and explosive detection dogs helped police seize two homemade firearms and ammunition from two Yorke Peninsula properties last week.

Ardrossan, Minlaton and Yorketown police attended a Yorketown address on Monday, April 16.

A search of the property involving police dog Kingston uncovered a homemade 12-gauge shotgun and a homemade .22-calibre firearm as well as a quantity of ammunition.
