Protecting wool flocks from flystrike

THE Australian Wool Innovation has created several new publications to keep wool producers informed about the progress in its breech strike research development and extension program.

Flystrike is one of AWI’s top research priorities, and it has invested more than $35million in flystrike initiatives and $60million in animal welfare programs since 2005.

The publications include Planning for a Non-Mulesed Merino Enterprise, which outlines decisions required when considering this move.
