A BELATED Freedom of Information response has confirmed the state government never held a Regional Impact Assessment Study before cutting surgical services at Yorketown Hospital.
Member for Goyder Steven Griffiths lodged the FOI with SA Health six months ago, asking to see correspondence between the health department and Regions SA. FOIs should be responded to within 30 days, according to the Freedom of Information Act 1991.
SA Health responded to Mr Griffiths two weeks ago, half a year after he lodged the request.
