VITERRA is distributing questionnaires to growers, seeking feedback about the company’s storage and handling operations during the 2011-12 harvest.
Executive manager grain Dean McQueen said Viterra wants to capture what worked and identify further opportunities for improvement based on growers’ personal experiences.
“We are eager to ensure actions we took following the 2010/11 Post Harvest Review have resulted in positive change for growers,” he said.
“We are again meeting with Strategic Site Committee chairs in March as we continue to seek feedback on our storage and handling operations.”
Independent research company Square Holes is organising the grower questionnaire.
Growers are asked to respond to questions about efficiency of site operations, segregations, classification procedures, safety, service delivery, communication and more.
The questionnaire has been sent to growers by email and hardcopy; it is also accessible online at www.squareholes.com/viterrasurvey.
Responses are due by Wednesday, March 7. Although growers are requested to enter their NGR number, Viterra said this is solely to ensure validity of data collected and all responses will remain anonymous.
