YP leading the charge

YORKE Peninsula Coun­cil is preparing to welcome electric vehicles to the region, having been chosen to obtain eight Tesla Destination Chargers.

As part of contract arrangements to build the world’s biggest battery in Jamestown, Tesla offered 50 charging stations to South Australian businesses.

“We are excited to be chosen to install as many as eight units,” council CEO Andrew Cameron said.
