PLAYGROUND... Eleanor Francis, Owen Williamson, Isla Panozzo, Jayden Hank, Maddi Sze, Ayla Hank and Clayton Francis are excited to soon have more play equipment options after their parents’ Fund My Neighbourhood project for an upgrade of Newtown playground gained funding.
NEWTOWN playground, Copper Coast Mini Golf, Minlaton CFS kitchen and Victoria Square treetop play have secured funding through the state government’s Fund My Neighbourhood program.
The upgrade to Newtown playground, Kadina, upgrade won $55,000 funding with 235 votes, the fifth most of all projects South Australia.
A total of $365,000 has been allocated to the Yorke Peninsula projects, with Victoria Square, Kadina, treetop play area receiving $150,000, mini golf at The Copper Coast Tourism Centre, Kadina, $145,000 and Minlaton CFS $15,000.
