IN South Australia there is a movement called Shoe Boxes of Love. Generous people fill a shoebox with clothing and other articles likely to delight a child. This is then sent to an overseas country where there is need. I have seen a video showing the joy little children experience when receiving such a shoebox.

IN the unconfirmed minutes of an ordinary meeting of the Legatus Group (only for council mayors and CEOs) held at Kadina on September 8, on page two at item 1.2 it states “Mayor Paul Thomas acknowledged the work of CEO Peter Harder and the role of the Local Government Finance Authority in assisting with the $15.5million Copper Coast Sports and Leisure Centre.”
