Your View: Thankful for overpass

THE RAA’s call for roads, roads and more roads? (The Advertiser, 30-8-18) proves Henry Ford’s improved creations have left a trail of tracks which have required massive upgrades ever since.

The proposed overpass at the intersection of Copper Coast and Augusta Highways is but one awaiting attention. Compared with a $40million pedestrian footbridge across the River Torrens, it would eliminate frequent heavy regional traffic bottlenecks and save time and probably the lives of reckless motorists, not to mention the innocent and responsible ones.

Build it and I am certain regional travellers, together with city motorists bound for the bush, will be forever thankful.
